Speech language therapy focuses on improving language and speech difficulties. At Way to Grow we specialize in working with children and their unique challenges.
Our pediatric speech language pathologists use therapeutic games and activities to improve a child’s ability to speak, understand language concepts, improve their social skills and build vocabulary. In addition to individual treatment, our speech therapists run social skills groups for children ages 5-12.
Our speech-language pathologists can help children with:
- Receptive and expressive language delays and disorders
- Articulation disorders
- Pragmatics
- Fluency challenges, such as stuttering
- Oral-motor skills
- Augmentative communication
Our speech therapists work closely with parents to help them understand how to practice and maintain the skills developed in therapy. We work in conjunction with our occupational therapists and co-treatment is available.
